"Are you a property management company?"

No, but we have an intimate, non-Paxilar network of licensed professionals who can support clients on marketing the property (including MLS), running applications/checks, showing properties, executing leases, and managing evictions.

"Do you collect the rent?"

No. Rent payments need to go directly to the owner. We recommend electronic payment options and there are a few apps that make this much easier.

"Who is your typical clientele?"

We cater to landlords/owners who need to aggressively manage cashflow/expenses, who want a high level of care for their properties and tenants, and who are willing to remain a little hands on the finances and contracts (e.g., receiving rent payments directly).

"Does the word 'Paxilar' mean anything?"

The Latin root of "pax" is "peace" and the Latin root of "lar" is in reference to a Roman deity that was the guardian of the home. "Lar" also means "hearth/home" in Spanish and Portuguese.
